Designing for Identity. Learning for Life

I design learning experiences that make complex ideas intuitive, engaging, and accessible. Through research, interaction design, and visual storytelling, I transform information into experiences that help people understand, explore, and apply new knowledge. Whether designing museum exhibits, educational resources, or digital learning experiences, I begin with people- their needs, motivations, and goals.

As a learning designer, my role is to create experiences that leverage identity rather than overlook it. When learners see themselves in the learning experience, knowledge becomes transferable, actionable, and lasting.

My Learning Design Framework

I believe learning is most powerful when it begins with the identities learners already bring into the room. Identity shapes how people interpret new information, connect it to what they already know, and determine if it is worth remembering.

This equation isn't intended to measure learning. It represents the principles that guide every design decision I make.

Every design decision should answer one question:

Does this make learning more meaningful for this learner?

Lasting learning = identity times prior knowledge plus new information times Application, divided by distance from daily life
